Position Overview

This full-time, on-site position as a Maintenance Team Lead at Braun Ambulances in Van Wert, OH, involves supervising and executing equipment upkeep, preventive maintenance, and overall maintenance management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and delegate tasks to the maintenance team, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Identify and facilitate appropriate training for team members.
  • Assist the team in troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Provide updates on maintenance activities and progress to stakeholders.

  • Execute preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Collaborate with equipment vendors for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Be available for non-standard hours, including weekends, to minimize production disruptions.
  • Conduct safety and security audits, making necessary corrections.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas.
  • Operate forklifts for the movement of various materials, including hazardous waste.

Technical Skills and Competencies

  • High School diploma or equivalent with 7 years of maintenance experience.
  • Successful completion of maintenance competency evaluation.
  • Proficient in low and high voltage circuitry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with small machinery and various tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of basic OSHA safety standards (e.g., Lockout/Tagout).
