Job Summary

We are seeking an Associate Planner to join our team at Tidewater Planning & Design, LLC. As an Associate Planner, you will assist in the development of innovative solutions to address client needs and play a key role in the development of Basic Facility Requirements (BFR's), Asset Evaluations (AE's), and Military Construction Documents (Form 1391s).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of project deliverables, including BFR's, AE's, and Form 1391s
  • Conduct research and compile data in support of project deliveries
  • Assist in client interviews and produce client materials for project meetings
  • Travel up to 50% of the time to support project deliveries

Requirements:

  • United States Citizenship
  • Must be located in the state of Virginia
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Geography, or related field
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance and travel internationally

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with ArcGIS
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD
  • Prior military service
