Job Description:
Job Summary: Titan Medical Group is seeking a skilled Traveling Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with catheterization procedures, including preparing patients, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatments.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, including educating patients on post-procedure care and follow-up instructions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech or related field.
- Current certifications in ARRT(R), BCLS, and BLS.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
