Job Title: General Surgeon RN

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Surgeon RN to join our team at The George Washington University Hospital. As a General Surgeon RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients undergoing general surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing general surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Monitor and report patient progress to the surgical team
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications:
  • Current RN license in good standing
  • BSN required or enrollment in BSN program within 5 years
  • Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience in an acute care setting
  • BLS certification (ACLS within 3 months of hire)
