Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center. As a Medical Imaging Specialist III Nuclear Medicine, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography and related procedures to obtain sectional anatomic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
This role requires a strong foundation in nuclear medicine, with the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care, applying your expertise in radiation safety and image quality control.
Responsibilities- Perform computed tomography and related procedures to obtain sectional anatomic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
- Assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs, providing care accordingly.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to radiation safety protocols and image quality control standards.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program and a member in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) and ARRT (N) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (N.M.T.C.B).
- Licensed by the State of Nevada.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Demonstrated competence specific to NM position.
