Medical Imaging Specialist III Nuclear Medicine

The Medical Imaging Specialist III Nuclear Medicine demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in the department. This position requires a strong foundation in nuclear medicine, with the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
This role involves performing computed tomography and related procedures to obtain sectional anatomic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. The ideal candidate will have excellent professional judgment, maintaining a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics while providing services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities- Performs computed tomography and related procedures to obtain sectional anatomic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
- Provides health care services applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
- Assesses data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs, providing care accordingly.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program and a member in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) and ARRT (N) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (N.M.T.C.B).
- Licensed by the State of Nevada.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Demonstrated competence specific to NM position.
