Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated HVAC Sales Consultant who is eager to learn and possesses some industry experience. This role is vital to our team and contributes to our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a positive experience for customers throughout the sales process.
- Follow up on sales leads generated from various sources.
- Propose solutions that address customer concerns while highlighting our competitive advantages.
- Exhibit technical knowledge and maintain credibility with clients.
- Conduct analysis and load calculations to determine customer needs.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals effectively.
- Handle objections, negotiate terms, and finalize sales.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
- Assist in preparing financing documents and processing payments.
- Monitor performance metrics and strive to meet established goals.
- Be available for communication with clients and participate in training sessions.
- Maintain professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
- Adhere to company standards of conduct and safety protocols.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of sales experience, ideally within the HVAC industry.
- High school diploma or GED; an Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with HVAC equipment and industry practices.
- Experience in service agreement sales and estimating.
- Strong skills in relationship building and customer service.
- Proficient negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver's license and eligibility under company insurance policies.
