Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Consultant plays a pivotal role in overseeing the recruitment initiatives for designated sectors within At Home Stores LLC. This position is designed to equip stakeholders with the necessary resources, insights, and tools to facilitate effective career placements within the organization. Collaborating closely with leadership and Talent Acquisition teams, this role is instrumental in formulating recruitment strategies aimed at attracting and securing top-tier talent across various functional domains.
Core Responsibilities:
- Establishes strong partnerships with management to devise and implement recruitment strategies that align with organizational growth.
- Develops and executes proactive sourcing strategies to identify and recruit high-caliber candidates who align with At Home's values.
- Manages the complete recruitment lifecycle, including the interview, selection, and onboarding processes.
- Consults with various business partners on topics such as Recruitment, Workforce Planning, Succession Planning, Diversity, and Retention.
- Acts as a key advisor for talent management, guiding hiring decisions, salary negotiations, and effectively representing the At Home brand to prospective candidates.
- Gathers industry insights and competitive market intelligence to inform staffing strategies.
- Delivers timely and cost-effective recruitment and screening of qualified candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Utilizes a variety of sourcing channels, including social media and networking, to identify potential candidates.
- Engages with candidates to communicate career opportunities and the growth narrative of At Home.
- Supports store openings and relocations by recommending talent sources and managing recruitment timelines.
- Builds and nurtures relationships with potential candidates for future talent pipelines.
- Maintains comprehensive documentation of candidate interactions, screening processes, and hiring outcomes to ensure compliance and evaluate recruitment effectiveness.
- Serves as a consultant to hiring managers by identifying and recommending suitable candidates for positions.
- Modifies and posts job descriptions, screens applicants, and oversees the negotiation of salaries while ensuring background checks are conducted.
- Follows up with new hires to ensure their onboarding and training experiences meet or exceed expectations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Over 5 years of experience in recruiting, with a focus on exempt-level positions and compensation negotiations.
- Experience in retail, corporate environments, or recruitment firms is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational and communication abilities.
