We are seeking a Material Handling Specialist who is interested in establishing a long-term career with us. The compensation for this role ranges from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on experience. This position involves the movement and management of fencing materials/products within the storage facility and supporting the distribution of these items. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and dependable, with welding experience being a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interpret work orders or receive verbal instructions to ascertain work tasks or material/equipment requirements.
- Retrieve products or materials necessary for fence crews, transport vehicles, or clients.
- Load crew vehicles, transport trucks, or customer cars, ensuring protective measures like bracing, padding, or strapping are applied to prevent movement or damage during transport.
- Accept incoming products and materials from deliveries, inspect for damage and accuracy, unload using a forklift, and safely relocate to designated storage areas.
- Organize products or materials on pallets and transport them to specified locations.
- Maintain records of units handled or moved using daily production logs or work tickets.
- Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tanks.
- Transport necessary tools or supplies from storage or vehicles and return them post-use.
- Ensure the yard remains clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Coordinate with vendors for the disposal of trash bins on-site.
- Assist with pipe cutting, welding, and fabrication of gates, ornamental iron, or custom orders as required.
- Operate delivery trucks as necessary.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year, with at least 6 months of welding experience
- 1-2 years of experience in material handling
- 1-2 years of experience in warehouse/lumber yard/hardware operations
- 1-2 years of experience in forklift operation

Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.

Applicants must successfully pass a background check and drug screening. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
