The Radiation Therapist Lead is a vital member of the Radiation Oncology team at UROPARTNERS LLC, overseeing the administration of Radiation Therapy in the Radiation Oncology Center. This role involves supervising treatment procedures, coordinating patient care, and ensuring the quality of care provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising daily Radiation Therapy treatments to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Leading and guiding fellow therapists to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and scheduling
  • Coordinating equipment maintenance and service calls to minimize downtime
  • Implementing treatment techniques as necessary to ensure best practices
  • Monitoring patients for reactions during therapy and taking necessary actions
Certifications and Requirements:
  • AART and ASRT certification for Radiation Therapy professionals
  • IEMA state license and BLS certification for healthcare professionals
  • Knowledge of EMR systems and healthcare operations to ensure seamless patient care
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines to ensure timely patient care
  • Proficient in handling clinical competencies and patient interactions to provide exceptional care
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma required for a strong foundation in healthcare
  • Certificate in Radiation Therapy Technology for specialized knowledge
  • Graduate of AMA accredited program for a strong educational background
  • Previous related experience preferred for a competitive edge
