Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at UroPartners LLC. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in administering accurate radiation therapy treatments to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments using linear accelerators and aid in patient simulation.
- Accurately set treatment parameters and record proper documentation of all treatments and procedures.
- Perform daily quality assurance and warm-up procedures on treatment units.
- Schedule and coordinate daily treatments and other appointments.
- Monitor patients' well-being during treatment and provide education as needed.
- Observe patients for signs of complications and report to physicians as necessary.
- Coordinate patients' daily radiation therapy appointments and CT scans.
- Handle daily and weekly filming for treatment purposes and verification.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Stay up-to-date with professional development and continuing education.
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
- ARRT Registered, IEMA Licensed, and BLS for Healthcare Provider certifications.
- One to two years of experience preferred.
The Radiation Therapist will work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels and frequent exposure to radiation-emitting treatment units. The employee will occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
