About the Role

  • We are looking for a highly skilled Java Cloud Developer with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Apache Kafka, RESTful APIs, and AWS managed solutions such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EC2, CloudWatch, Route53, and IAM roles/policies.
  • They will be responsible for architecting and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Strong communication skills and technical expertise are essential for driving and participating in meaningful discussions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Work with Apache Kafka and Event Driven Applications that use Messaging solutions.
  • Implement Restful APIs and Microservices, particularly Spring Boot apps.
  • Experience in container-based development (Docker) and Hibernate ORM/JDBC/Connection Pooling with relational databases.
  • Implement Microservices Architecture and build/deploy highly automated, scalable, and maintainable infrastructure.
  • Knowledge on CD process and tools, testing frameworks, and practices (preferably GitHub, Jenkins, Stash, Artifactory, Terraform, etc.).

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience working with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience working with Apache Kafka and Event Driven Applications that use Messaging solutions.
  • Proven experience in Restful APIs and Microservices, particularly Spring Boot apps.
  • Experience in container-based development (Docker).
  • Experience in Hibernate ORM/JDBC/Connection Pooling with relational databases.
  • Experience in AWS EKS and AWS managed solutions such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM roles/policies, etc.
