Food Service Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Equipment Technician to join our team at CoolSys. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems, HVAC equipment, and other food service equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Install and maintain commercial refrigeration systems, including piping, electrical wiring, and refrigeration equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
- Assist in the installation of new food service equipment, including refrigeration cases, freezers, and cooking equipment.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of equipment.
- Work with minimal supervision and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience and trade or technical school classes.
- 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in commercial refrigeration, electrical, and/or fixtures construction.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration systems, and plumbing and pipe fittings.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to use hand and power tools and possess good mechanical skills.
