Job Title: Carryout Cashier

Green Lantern Pizza is seeking a motivated and team-oriented Carryout Cashier to provide excellent service in a fast-paced pizza restaurant environment.

Job Summary:

The Carryout Cashier is responsible for handling all carryout orders and guests in a professional and timely manner. This includes answering phones, taking orders, greeting guests, cashing out orders, and maintaining a clean and organized carryout area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe and clean workstation
  • Be a team player and support fellow team members
  • Maintain sanitary standards
  • Count cash drawer at beginning and end of shift
  • Greet guests, take orders, and expedite food orders
  • Ring guest orders into the cash register or POS system
  • Process credit and debit card transactions
  • Answer phone and take phone orders
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Clean equipment and keep floor clean
  • Complete shift work timely and thoroughly
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent desired
  • Ability to perform simple math calculations and make changes
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to stoop and bend
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds frequently
