Overview:


The role involves repairing and replacing tires on commercial vehicles at various locations, including customer sites and during service calls on the roadside, along with other responsibilities as directed by management.


Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:


- Possess a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type required for the role and meet commercial driver qualification standards.
- Adhere to established protocols for inspecting tires and wheels before and after service.
- Assess tire conditions for repairability and execute necessary repairs.
- Review work orders and communicate effectively with supervisors.
- Accurately document work performed in accordance with company policies.
- Utilize hand and power tools to unbolt and re-bolt wheels from/to vehicles.
- Mount and dismount various tire types on different rim styles.
- Ensure proper inflation of tires based on size, ply, and load specifications.
- Operate balancing machines to determine necessary counterweights for wheel balance.
- Replace valve stems and remove any puncturing objects.
- Safely maneuver vehicles in and out of the service area.
