Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Coordinator to join our team at Stryten Energy. As a Quality Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our quality management system, quality improvement projects, and key customer activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of quality management system procedures and work instructions.
  • Maintain quality auditing tools and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and changes.
  • Coordinate and conduct internal audits for quality systems, products, and processes.
  • Support corrective action requests to suppliers and follow up on closure.
  • Work with other plants and corporate contacts to improve shared quality system elements.
  • Assist manufacturing shop-floor with corrective action resolution for internal KPIs and external customer issues.
  • Participate in incident investigations and track corrective actions in Intelex.
Requirements
  • Three to five years of experience working in the manufacturing industry, preferably in battery manufacturing.
  • High school diploma or minimum of a two-year technical degree in science, engineering, or quality.
  • Experience working in a union manufacturing plant is a plus.
  • Two years of experience working in a quality or continuous improvement position.
  • Six Sigma or Lean training and/or certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft and Google Suite applications.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Batteries and Chargers a plus.
  • Critical thinking and good troubleshooting technique.
Work Environment

The individual will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is minimal to loud. Regularly working in a dirty lead-contaminated area requires wearing a uniform and safety shoes to prevent tracking and/or possible lead contamination of other clean areas or outside or the regulated areas.
