As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant with Interim HealthCare, you'll have the opportunity to work with patients in their own homes, providing personalized therapy to help them regain their strength, manage their pain, and reach their goals.

Our team of healthcare professionals is dedicated to delivering high-quality care that is tailored to each patient's unique needs. As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work closely with our experienced therapists to develop and implement individualized plans of care that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of our patients.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide home-based physical therapy to patients who have lost mobility, strength, and functionality due to an illness or injury
  • Work as part of a home health team to develop and implement individualized plans of care
  • Assist patients with exercises and hands-on therapy to manage pain and increase mobility
  • Educate patients on their plan of care, established goals, exercises, and self-care
  • Coach family members on the plan of care, therapy goals, and safely assisting with exercises
Requirements:
  • Active PTA license in Maine
  • Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience, ideally in home healthcare
  • CPR certification
  • Up-to-date on all State of Maine required vaccinations
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
