Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Principal leadership team.
  • Lead the development of policies and programs focused on student wellbeing, aligning with educational initiatives.
  • Oversee and manage all applications related to student support services.
  • Conduct thorough monitoring of student engagement, attendance, and wellbeing metrics, setting appropriate targets and interventions in line with the school's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with both Senior and Middle Schools to ensure a cohesive approach to student wellbeing and engagement.
  • Coordinate the Inclusive Education program, working closely with educators and the integration team.
  • Support and develop the Student Wellbeing team.
  • Assist in managing referrals to student support services and external agencies as necessary.
  • Facilitate and manage meetings with parents and students alongside the Principal leadership team.
  • Provide support for students with high needs or those at risk.
  • Offer short-term therapeutic assistance to individual students.
  • Manage and support applications for alternative educational settings.
  • Coordinate professional development opportunities for staff in areas related to student wellbeing and engagement.
  • Explore new initiatives or partnerships with community agencies that can enhance student learning and wellbeing.
  • Co-lead and manage school-wide wellbeing intervention and prevention programs.
  • Provide leadership in matters concerning student wellbeing and emergency management protocols.
  • Support students during transitional phases in their education, such as new enrollments and grade transitions.

Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration with the relevant teaching authority and possess qualifications or demonstrated experience in the specified curriculum areas.
