About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team at Diversicare. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our nursing staff receives the highest quality training and education to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess department needs for training and develop comprehensive training programs to meet those needs.
  • Orient new staff members and provide ongoing training and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Schedule training programs and in-services for all employees, including lectures, demonstrations, and one-to-one training sessions.
  • Supervise the use of online education platforms and monitor compliance with training requirements.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent in the nursing field.
  • Collaborate with administrators to develop and implement policies and procedures related to nursing education and training.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in nursing education and training.
Requirements
  • Current licensure by State Board of Nursing or certified or licensed Risk Manager with at least two years of long-term care experience.
  • Demonstrated success in activities dealing with the communication of technical ideas and concepts.
  • Teaching/instructional experience preferred.
