POSITION OVERVIEW
:

This role is essential in bolstering manufacturing operations through significant contributions and collaboration with process engineering on various technical assignments within the fabrication area.

This non-exempt position entails a compressed work schedule, operating from 6:50 PM to 7:00 AM for 3 to 4 days weekly, to ensure the seamless functioning of production lines in a semiconductor fabrication environment focused on SAW/GaAs technology.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage production materials during periods not engaged in specific tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and engineering teams to execute product evaluations (holds).
  • Set up and validate semiconductor processing equipment.
  • Mentor, train, and support factory operators to boost productivity.
  • Assist in scrap analysis and investigations.
  • Identify and troubleshoot process issues by adhering to established protocols.
  • Analyze and respond to statistical process control data.
  • Recognize and address potential improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; an Associate's degree or higher in a STEM field is preferred.
  • Preferred candidates will have over 3 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential; candidates must be able to effectively engage with operations, equipment support, and engineering teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with Design of Experiments (DoE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and other statistical methodologies is advantageous.
  • This position requires the use of cleanroom attire and safety equipment; physical demands include bending, twisting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and standing for extended periods during a 12-hour shift.
