Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Nurse to join our team at the Department of Health and Human Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nurses to deliver high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Supervise and lead a team of nurses to ensure that they are providing high-quality care and adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that the healthcare team is providing safe and effective care.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New Mexico.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a nurse in a healthcare setting.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with experience leading a team of nurses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
