Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Engagement Coordinator to join our team at CAMBA, a community-based organization dedicated to providing comprehensive services to vulnerable populations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating outreach efforts, engaging with clients, and developing programs to promote stability and self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage clients and promote program participation
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to clients to help them achieve their goals
  • Collaborate with shelter staff to ensure seamless service delivery and client support
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions on topics such as crisis management, de-escalation techniques, and motivational interviewing
  • Track and analyze incident reports to inform program improvements and staff training
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including case management notes and progress reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (e.g., B.A., B.S.W.) and two years of applicable experience; Master's Degree preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Familiarity with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care principles
  • Bi-lingual proficiency (English/Spanish) a plus
