As a Homeless Outreach Coordinator, you will play a vital role in addressing homelessness and related issues in Brooklyn and Queens. The position involves receiving incoming 311 calls, documenting call information, and deploying outreach response teams. You will interact with callers, city personnel, and program staff to ensure effective responses. With a 35-hour workweek, this position offers a unique opportunity for those seeking a challenging yet rewarding role in social services.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency is preferred. Familiarity with Access-based databases and Microsoft Office is also desirable.
