Job Summary

DANIEL DEFENSE LLC is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our compliance department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company remains compliant with all relevant laws and regulations related to the firearms industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Serialized Parts Operations: Oversee the day-to-day management of serialized parts, ensuring accurate tracking and verification.
  • Firearm Order Release and Verification: Release firearm orders for state compliance and verify dealers' federal firearms licenses.
  • NFA Form Submission: Complete and submit necessary NFA forms (2, 3, 5, 9) and 4473s according to federal and state laws.
  • Collaboration with Sales and Engineering Teams: Work with sales and engineering teams on demos for agencies and internal transfers.
  • Inventory Management and Reporting: Adjust inventory, acquisitions, and disposition records, as well as report lost, missing, or stolen firearms to the ATF.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Communication: Interact with the ATF, team members, and industry professionals to ensure compliance with GCA and NFA regulations.
  • Environmental Health and Safety: Demonstrate a commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies, and procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in the company's efforts to continuously improve in safety, 6S, quality, delivery, and productivity.
  • Leadership and Integrity: Contribute to the company's standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment, and a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of ATF Compliance Laws: Preferred knowledge of ATF compliance laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Administrative Experience: High school diploma with 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a compliance-related role or a combination of related experience, education, and/or training.
  • Attention to Detail: Very specific attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills, with the ability to thoroughly and accurately verify work.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Analytical skills and ability to use those skills, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Teamwork and Time Management: Ability to work proactively with others, manage time efficiently, and prioritize responsibilities, deadlines, and delegate work effectively.
  • Computer Software Skills: Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
  • Confidentiality: Ability to hold confidential information received from DANIEL DEFENSE LLC in strict confidence.
