Health and Preventive Medicine Officer

At the United States Air Force, we prioritize the health and well-being of our community. As a Health and Preventive Medicine Officer, you will leverage your expertise in public health, preventive medicine, and medical entomology to promote health and reduce the incidence of communicable diseases, occupational and environmental illnesses, and food-borne diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor health conditions and potential threats to ensure the safety of our community
* Promote public health through epidemiological surveillance and food safety practices

Requirements:

* Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or Master of Public Health degree (MPH/MSPH) from accredited institutions
* Knowledge of basic epidemiology, microbiology, food technology and hygiene, communicable diseases, occupational and environmental health, and medical entomology
* Completion of officer training school
* Must be between the ages of 18 and have not reached your 42nd birthday
