The role involves ensuring cleanliness and safety within educational and community facilities. The individual will carry out a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold the standards of the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain effective and safe cleaning practices in designated areas.
  • Perform routine cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom upkeep.
  • Execute floor care tasks such as waxing and utilize various cleaning machinery.
  • Report directly to the Facilities Manager regarding cleaning and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including climbing and working in confined spaces.
  • Skilled in operating cleaning equipment and tools.
  • Capable of minor repairs on custodial tools and fixtures.
  • Responsible for replenishing supplies in restrooms and common areas.
  • Prepare meeting spaces for events based on provided guidelines.
  • Complete assigned cleaning and maintenance duties efficiently.
  • Ability to follow directions and work autonomously.
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • All personnel must pass a background check and comply with the Code of Conduct and training requirements.
