Key Responsibilities

As the Vice President of Acquisition Strategy, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital vision and strategy that prioritizes both customer engagement and business value. Your leadership will guide the success of various initiatives, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and overseeing the strategic roadmap for your teams.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborating with the Domain Lead to drive new business acquisition and manage the revenue growth strategy.
  • Leading a cross-functional team of product owners, developers, and business analysts.
  • Motivating team members to explore innovative methods for business acquisition to foster organizational growth.
  • Working alongside market-facing sales and business development teams to achieve financial objectives.
  • Building and nurturing key partnerships within the small commercial and digital insurance sectors.
  • Contributing to the design and implementation of advanced business development models for commercial insurance.
  • Cooperating with other domains to enhance digital customer experiences and deliver tailored product solutions.
  • Establishing the mission, vision, and goals for your sub-domain in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Defining and monitoring key performance indicators to ensure alignment with interdependent domains.
  • Facilitating strategic planning sessions and managing high-level backlogs.
  • Guiding resource allocation and strategic decision-making within budgetary constraints.
  • Fostering an Agile culture through effective leadership and team management.
  • Acting as a liaison across the organization to manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensuring the success of your initiatives and maintaining consistency across teams.
  • Identifying and addressing dependencies and obstacles within and across teams.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and best practices in insurance.
  • Championing customer advocacy and integrating design thinking into customer journeys.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Field & Distribution Management, Finance, or General Business.
  • Strong knowledge of API and SEMCI frameworks.
  • Expertise in sub-domain management with the ability to influence cross-functional strategies.
  • Proven track record of leading teams through change effectively.
  • Experience in coaching and developing team members in a diverse environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills focused on priority issues.
  • Ability to combine business acumen with product knowledge to influence stakeholders.
  • Agile mindset with adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Effective negotiation skills to advocate for stakeholder interests based on data and customer insights.
