Piedmont is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Acute Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Acute Care Services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in various settings, including the ER and ICU.
• Conduct thorough patient histories, physical examinations, and record data in patient records.
• Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries to ensure accurate and comprehensive patient documentation.
• Prepare patient workups, including ordering and scheduling diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Occasionally travel to other sites, including clinics, to provide care and support to patients.

Qualifications
• Masters or Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
• or Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification.
