We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central. As a New Grad RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing top-notch patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Job Summary:This is a full-time position that requires a graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. The ideal candidate will have 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program. As a New Grad RN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process, and modeling proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in a technically complex environment, including Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) level of care.
- Utilize evidence-based care models, including AACN's Synergy Model and various specialty certification standards.
- Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
- Precept and mentor new staff members.
