Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Sales Project Manager - Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for estimating new construction projects and upgrades to existing fire sprinkler systems, developing and growing a customer base, and performing preliminary design and calculations for bid estimates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Estimate new construction projects and upgrades to existing fire sprinkler systems
  • Develop and grow a customer base through persuasion and relationship management skills
  • Perform preliminary design and calculations for bid estimates
  • Prepare pricing for materials, labor, freight, and fabrication
  • Seek out competitive vendors and services to ensure competitive bids
  • Prepare scope and quotation letters for customers
  • Maintain monthly estimate logs
  • Meet with management to discuss current estimating backlog and due dates
  • Participate in turnover meetings as required
  • Assist with follow-up information with customers as requested

Requirements

  • Five-plus years of fire protection contracting experience
  • Design, sales, project management, or field experience
  • Prior experience in bidding work and a strong understanding of estimating
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
