About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our team at Entertainment Earth. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will play a crucial role in the completion of all functions of the purchasing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Preparation: Prepare new products daily to launch on our D2C and B2B websites, including assigning product attributes, writing product descriptions, downloading product images, and ensuring items are properly categorized on our websites with the upkeep of category pages.
  • Purchase Order Management: Send weekly purchase orders, confirm all product and purchase order information, facilitate changes and updates, and communicate with internal departments for any issues that arise.
  • Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors to confirm availability of products, verify purchase order information, obtain open ship reports, and update accurate product ETA dates.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Monitor vendor discrepancy log and facilitate timely resolutions to hold vendors accountable to the routing guide and vendor setup guide.
  • Assist with Daily Purchasing Duties: Assist in daily purchasing duties as determined by the purchasing management team with the goal of keeping an organized and efficient department.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of product coordinator or assistant buyer experience.
  • Skills: Expertise in Microsoft Excel utilizing formulas to streamline data from multiple sources.
