Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team and contribute to multi-discipline design projects. This individual will have the opportunity to lead a variety of public and private site development projects across various markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering design drawings from schematic design through construction documents, including engineering reports, technical specifications, and municipal site plan submissions.
  • Meet with clients and regulatory agencies to discuss project requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Delegate project workload to junior engineers and drafters, monitoring schedules and budgets to ensure effective completion of projects.
  • Mentor and guide junior-level staff to ensure their professional growth and development.
  • Conduct field inspections as needed to ensure project quality and compliance.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in engineering, preferably with design projects.
  • PE licensure in NJ (candidates who can obtain their PE within 6 months of their start date will be considered).
  • Management and/or project management experience is preferred.
  • Experience working on greenfield/land development projects.
  • Advanced proficiency with site design functions, including site layout, grading, utility design, stormwater management, erosion control, and municipal/land-use regulatory approvals.
