About the Role

PC Construction is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects, specifically in the water/wastewater sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and distribute bid packages to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing information and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Review scopes of work and quotations from subcontractors and vendors to ensure complete coverage of the work.
  • Analyze and negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and subcontract/PO change orders to ensure optimal financial outcomes.
  • Prepare subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and other commitments in CMiC to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Coordinate subcontractor coordination meetings and disseminate meeting minutes to ensure effective communication.
  • Review design drawings and specifications to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Generate and process RFIs to ensure timely and accurate responses.
  • Prepare change orders to the owner's contract in CMiC to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Develop and maintain contract document logs (design drawings, specifications, ASI, etc.) to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Manage bid package addenda to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Update and distribute documents such as design drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, potential change items, change orders, schedules, etc. to ensure accurate and timely communication.
  • Update and distribute document logs for design drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, potential change items, change orders, punch lists, etc. to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Generate a submittal log at the onset of the project to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Review submittals for compliance and compatibility to ensure optimal financial outcomes.
  • Expedite submittals as needed to ensure that construction activities aren't delayed.
  • Perform project management duties timely so as not to delay field activities.
  • Keep progress up-to-date in the project schedule to ensure accurate and timely communication.
  • Modify the schedule as required to reflect changes to the owner's contract to ensure accurate and timely communication.
  • Verify material deliveries for compliance to contract requirements and submittal data to ensure optimal financial outcomes.
  • Prepare and submit budget changes to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Assign costs to the correct job cost structures to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
