CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - FT Days - Long Term Care

The Nursing Assistant (NA) plays a vital role in providing resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents in our long-term care facility. As a member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of our residents, as outlined in their care plans.
You will assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and providing psychosocial support. You will also assist with transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment, as well as providing range of motion and passive exercises.
In addition, you will complete tasks related to food preparation and dining, creating a positive dining experience for our residents. You will also assist with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as needed, and document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
As a Nursing Assistant, you will work collaboratively with our nursing staff and providers to ensure the highest level of care for our residents. You will also participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
QualificationsWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual who is a high school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) holder. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred, but not required. You must be certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with the State Board of Nursing or be in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement. CNA training and certification will be provided by our facility.
