Job Summary

Timberline Lodge is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Host/Busser to join our team at the Rams Head Bar. As a Host/Busser, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and seat guests in a timely manner, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Provide detailed knowledge of all buffet menu offerings, making recommendations and answering questions with confidence.
  • Assist servers and bussers in maintaining a clean and organized service area, ensuring prompt and efficient service.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in maintaining a safe and sanitary environment, adhering to OLCC and food handling guidelines.
  • Exercise sound judgment and awareness regarding language, behavior, and dress and grooming, presenting a professional image at all times.
Requirements
  • Must possess a service-oriented personality, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to set and meet high customer service standards.
  • Must have valid OLCC and Oregon Food Handlers permits.
  • Must be proficient in up-selling products and services, with a focus on increasing revenue and enhancing the guest experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs, with the ability to bend, twist, and kneel as needed.
  • Must be flexible and capable of working in tight spaces, with balance and poise.
  • Must be able to work on feet, stand, and walk for up to 8 hours at a time, with the ability to keep up with the pace of the department demands.
