Job Summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a highly skilled Patient Registrar to join our team. As a Patient Registrar, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient registration processes, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accurate and complete information is collected.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Verify patient insurance information and update records as necessary.
  • Collect and process patient payments, including co-pays and self-pay services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely patient registration.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to two years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of third-party payors and medical terminology a plus.
