Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Clerk to join our team at Regional One Health. As a Patient Service Clerk, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to patients and families, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
  • Manage patient records, including updating and maintaining accurate and complete information.
  • Coordinate patient flow, including preparing patients for procedures and ensuring timely and efficient movement through the hospital.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling patient information.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a clerical or general office program preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a patient service or administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
