Position Overview: Postdoctoral Fellow at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey
The successful candidate will engage in autonomous laboratory investigations under the guidance of the principal investigator, focusing on the field of differential protein expression within human vascular endothelium.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct innovative research to uncover novel diagnostic, imaging, and therapeutic approaches utilizing peptide- and antibody-based combinatorial library selection.
- Publish significant findings, present research outcomes at academic conferences, and contribute to the education and training of students and laboratory staff.
Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences or a closely related discipline is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in laboratory methodologies and strong computer skills are essential.
- A background in cancer biology research will be considered an advantage.
Work Environment:
Physical requirements include the ability to stand, sit, walk, and lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs. The work environment may involve exposure to hazardous materials and infectious agents.
