AECOM is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Highway Engineering Intern to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA.
This internship is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in highway design and engineering, working on medium to large-scale transportation projects in the Greater Pennsylvania Area.
As a Highway Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work under the supervision of experienced engineers, supporting design staff on engineering calculations, quantity calculations, cost estimates, construction plans, and supporting materials.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the roadway, structures, and traffic engineering groups on highway design projects.
- Assist engineers in design staff on engineering calculations, quantity calculations, cost estimates, construction plans, and supporting materials.
- Work effectively in a team-based, collaborative environment.
- Computer-Aided Design Production
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field or related field with the intent to continue after the internship.
- Must have completed 1 year of study in the applicable program.
