Job Description

Job Summary:

D2B Groups is seeking a highly skilled Sales Representative for Generator Systems to spearhead growth and enhance customer satisfaction for backup power generator and other mission-critical power solutions. The primary focus is on building strategic relationships with major accounts and vertical market resellers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Strategic Relationships: Develop close relationships with major accounts by identifying customer technical requirements, collaborating with the assigned Account Manager to create solutions, and driving new business development.
  • Drive New Account Sales: Drive new account sales with the aim of exceeding forecasted gross margins and sales revenue.
  • Expand Company Presence: Contribute to the expansion of the company's presence in diverse sectors within the distribution division.
  • Communicate Value Proposition: Utilize a combination of technical knowledge and sales skills to effectively communicate the value proposition of AC UPS and related products/services.
  • Enhance Customer Satisfaction: Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, providing solutions, and ensuring a positive overall experience.
  • Provide Budgets and Forecasts: Provide budgets and forecasts as requested, actively and comprehensively working within the company CRM system.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Become a subject matter expert for the lines carried and stay updated on product knowledge through active participation in ongoing training.

Requirements:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred; technical discipline is a plus.
  • Technical Sales Experience: 4 years of experience in technical sales with mission-critical power systems, preferably backup power generators.
  • Success in Developing Major Accounts: Demonstrable track record of success in developing major accounts.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.

Work Conditions:

  • Remote Work: Work from home/Remote.
  • Local Travel: Local travel estimated at 75% of working time.

  • Remote Position: This is a remote position and will require the employee to work from home.
