POSITION OVERVIEW

The Nutritional Services Clerk plays a vital role in supporting the dietary needs of patients and residents. This position involves assisting with menu choices, maintaining serveries, and accurately entering dietary data into the system. Compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies is essential. The role reports directly to the Food and Nutrition Services Manager or Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively prioritize daily tasks
  • Review units for dietary slips and menus on a daily basis
  • Input new dietary information for patients and residents into the system
  • Maintain and stock serveries
  • Assist patients and residents with the distribution of weekly menus
  • Organize and refresh menus for culinary staff
  • Conduct daily reviews and updates of menus
  • Ensure the completeness of returned menus
  • Implement necessary modifications to menus
  • Participate in meal line operations

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: Training will be provided; no prior experience is required

Attendance: Must demonstrate reliable attendance and commitment to scheduled shifts
