Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Transaction Processor. As a key member of our office, you will be responsible for processing financial transactions, responding to customer inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process financial transactions, including posting payments to customer accounts and verifying accuracy of payments.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with technical support of parking applications, pay stations, and web payments to improve customer experience.
- Determine applicants' qualifications for county permits based on department policy and issue permits as necessary.
- Receive and process payments and fees, including collecting monies, issuing receipts, and entering data into computer systems.
Requirements:
- High School graduation or GED equivalent supplemented by one (1) year of experience in customer service, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bookkeeping, or a related field.
- Ability to perform sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis or sustained keyboard operations.
