Preferred Materials, a leading supplier of construction materials in Florida, is seeking an experienced Ready Mix Driver for our Tampa operations.

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Ready Mix Driver is to drive a concrete mixer to work sites, discharge the load, and ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained. The driver must also be familiar with delivering to various equipment, such as pavers, rollers, and broom tractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a concrete mixer to work sites and discharge the load
  • Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained
  • Deliver to various equipment, such as pavers, rollers, and broom tractors
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oiling and greasing the equipment
  • Meet safety standards and adhere to company policies
Requirements:
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with combination vehicle endorsement
  • 1 year of related experience or training
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to establish respectful relationships with colleagues
  • Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds
