Job Overview

AVANTech, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing water treatment systems globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and clarify project specifications to establish design/engineering scope and technical requirements.
  • Ensure mechanical design compliance with Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID).
  • Produce conceptual designs from client specifications and develop both basic and detailed engineering documentation.
  • Perform and document design calculations to ensure design is compliant with client specifications and applicable codes and standards.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers, vendors, and technical representatives for specification of various mechanical systems and components to support overall project design.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college/university.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical or design engineering.
  • P.E. preferred, not required.
  • Ability to work with others in a cooperative team environment.
  • General knowledge of Creo or SOLIDWORKS is highly preferred.
