Job Title: Mid-Level DSP Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level DSP Engineer to join our team at BlackSignal Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will design, develop, and maintain complex systems that meet customer and mission needs.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge research and technology, leveraging small teams to rapidly get capabilities into the hands of the warfighter. Our technical efforts focus on signal processing, image processing, full-motion video, mission planning, and data analytics.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test complex systems for signal processing and image processing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and ensure seamless functionality
  • Develop and maintain software implementation of algorithms related to digital wireless communications, signal processing, and image processing
  • Work with Linux and Git to manage code and ensure efficient development processes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in signal processing and machine learning
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • 5-10 years of experience in software implementation of algorithms related to digital wireless communications, signal processing, and image processing
  • Eligibility for TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph (U.S. Citizenship required for clearance)
  • Experience with X-Midas, GNU Radio, MATLAB, C/C++, Python, and Linux

Compensation

Starting salary: $125K + benefits; Total Compensation will be dependent on qualifications and experience
