Job Summary

As a Grill Cook with Morrison Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our patients and customers. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team in this dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve food to customers in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation, completing orders from steam tables and serving customers at multiple stations.
  • Serve customers in an efficient, friendly manner, following established steps of service and meeting outlined standards.
  • Ensure food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty, tasting all prepared food items.
  • Use established ticket-collection procedures during service and be responsible for records from the area worked during service periods.
  • Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
  • Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with established safety standards.
  • Store foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures.
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.
  • Resolve customer concerns and report relevant information and concerns to supervisor.
  • Attend in-service and safety meetings.
  • Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
  • Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
