Cadence Design Systems is a global leader in electronic design automation (EDA). We are seeking a highly motivated and talented intern to join our team as a Digital Design and Verification Engineer Intern.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our cutting-edge EDA tools and applications, and to contribute to the development of innovative electronic products.

As a Digital Design and Verification Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including digital design, verification, and implementation.

You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, working closely with our technical experts and engineers to design and develop advanced semiconductor chips.

This is a three-month internship located in San Jose, CA.

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual who is passionate about electronics design and automation.

As a Digital Design and Verification Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn from our technical experts and engineers, and to contribute to the development of innovative electronic products.

You will be responsible for completing a design project that uses Cadence applications for the design, analysis, and implementation of digital and analog blocks meeting a set of specifications.

Each intern will participate in design reviews, sharing what they have learned with their cohort and technical management.

This cohort-based program will offer experience in the following areas:

  • Fundamentals in design, verification, HDLs, Synthesis and timing
  • Embedded software development and HW/SW codesign and co-verification
  • UNIX, C/C, and scripting languages such as Perl, TCL, Python
  • Digital physical design and implementation
  • Sign-off for timing, IR drop, power analysis, SI analysis
  • Opportunity to network and participate in fun activities with the intern and recent college graduate community at Cadence.
