Job Title: Assembly Technician

Matrix Design Group is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team at our home office in Newburgh, IN.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Assembly Technician to assemble components and finished goods to product specifications. The ideal candidate will have excellent manual dexterity, good hand and eye coordination, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble components and finished goods to product specifications.
  • Read, study, and understand schematic diagrams and process documents.
  • Perform regular test and inspection procedures to ensure product quality.
  • Document and maintain manufacturing procedures for specified devices.
  • Calibrate, test, and maintain production and test-associated equipment.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment and ensure compliance with company rules and policies.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as fork trucks, pallet jacks, and work assist vehicles.
  • Support the company's ISO/IEC initiatives.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general educational diploma.
  • Good hand and eye coordination with demonstrated excellent manual dexterity.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-based environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and interface positively with other team members and departments.
  • Ability to learn and master new assembly skills.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions:
  • Work conditions will be indoors with climate control.
Physical Requirements:

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop or crouch. The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
