Key Responsibilities:
- Support the cybersecurity efforts of project information systems, ensuring the implementation of effective controls and optimized processes.
- Verify and implement updates, patches, and conduct routine maintenance for project systems, maintaining a strong organizational and system security posture.
- Conduct research and analysis on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) cybersecurity solutions to assess their effectiveness as security tools and data sources.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to subordinate staff, collaborating with other Cybersecurity Engineer IIIs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline.
- Five or more years of related experience.
- Hold one of the following certifications within six months of commencing work on the Task Order: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant industry standard certifications, such as Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure), Security certification (Security+, CASP, CISSP), or Tool certifications (Tenable Security Center Specialist, Tanium Certified Administrator, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator).
Clearance Requirements:
- This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
- Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Compensation:
The projected compensation range for this position is $121,800-$204,100. Differentiating factors, such as Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills, and competencies, may impact the final salary/hourly rate.
