Job Summary:

SSM Health is seeking a skilled Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team at St. Louis University Hospital. As an EEG Specialist, you will be responsible for performing standard and complex electroneurodiagnostic procedures, including EEG, evoked potentials, nerve conduction velocities, and quantitative sensory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform EEG recordings, including wake and sleep, nasopharyngeal studies, bedside, and electrocerebral inactivity (ECI) evaluations.
  • Summarize patient neurological status and clinical history, and complete documentation needed for physician interpretation.
  • Record clinical evoked potentials in auditory, visual, and cervical and lumbar somatosensory modalities.
  • Monitor EEG during sodium amytal studies, electrocorticography, cortical mapping, and long-term epilepsy monitoring.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Neurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent training.
  • 2 years of experience performing EEGs, NCV, and EPs preferred.
  • R.EEG T credential required within 18 months of hire.
